About us
 PT MNC Sky Vision (MSV) is the pioneer on satellite pay television industry in Indonesia. Established on August 8, 1988, MSV began to market their satellite based Pay TV product in early 1994 under the brand name of INDOVISION. On April 2008, MSV launched a new product called TOP Tv to expand the market penetration in the lower segment.
Started its service in 1994, MSV utilized C-band Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) analog service from Palapa C-2 satellite. Later in 1997, MSV underwent a radical technology change, from Palapa C-2 Analog in C-Band to Indostar-I Digital in S-Band frequency. Indostar-I satellite specially launched to cater the MSV’s program distribution in Indonesia, is being managed by PT. Media Citra Indostar (MCI). Both MSV and MCI are a subsidiary company of Global Mediacom.
In May 2009, MSV launched the latest satellite INDOSTAR-II, to replace the satellite position of INDOSTAR-I. Broadcasting on the same frequency of S-band, INDOSTAR-II satellite has the latest broadcast transmission technology giving INDOSTAR-II satellite to have doubled the capacity of the INDOSTAR-I satellite.

EPG also allows subscriber to select and book certain programs so the
subscriber will not miss their favorite programs.

PRODUCT HARDWARE
Considering technology digital and signal scrambling on MSV broadcast system, thus several devices are acquired to access TOP Tv and INDOVISION programs as follow:

Digital Decoder, serves to decode the data of the signals received, so subscribers can access television and radio channels that are distributed from INDOVISION and TOP Tv.
- Viewing Card, needed to access the decoded data and unlock the programs.

Mini Out Door Unit, serves as a signal receiver, equipped with
LNBF (Low Noise Block Feed horn) mounted on a mini satellite dish,
which is only 80 cm in diameter.
SUBSCRIBERS PROFILE
INDOVISION and TOP Tv’s subscribers consists of,
- Direct to Home (DTH) Subscriber
Individual customers who installed INDOVISION and TOP Tv’s satellite dish
and decoder in their homes for personal use. Their existence spread
throughout Indonesia.
- Commercial Subscriber
SMATV
SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna TV) Service, can be received throughout
Indonesia using satellite dish connected to a satellite receiver device
(head-end) and distributed to several units of TVs. In this service,
customers/subscribers can select the desired channels. Subscribers under
this service are housing complex, apartments, real estate, offshore company
and office complex.
Hotel
Five-star and non-star hospitality institutions throughout Indonesia use
SMATV system for broadcast distribution to the rooms for viewing by the
hotel guests. This category of subscribers can select the desired channels
to subscribe. Subscribers under this service are hotels and hospitals.
